Ethics, sportsmanship, and protecting the integrity of the breed should be an exhibitor’s prime concern. All to often winning at any cost clouds the truly noble issues and the inevitable ugly outcome of these individuals behavior to the sport harms us all.
Judges education should be paramount among top breeders. The overall poor quality of judging nation wide cannot be easily dismissed to judge getting older or the AKC process of becoming a judge. As breeders, it is our duty to let the judges know the standard of a breed and how we interpret that standard.
